CSR

We are always trying to improve ourselves as a business when it comes to CSR, because we are passionate about growing in a sustainable way. At M-four we understand the importance of recognising the impact we have on the environment both locally and worldwide, the well-being of our staff and the positive impact we can have in our local community. You can read below some of the ways we aim to achieve these;

 

Working within the community through fundraising for local charities, team members participating in sponsored runs and walks from a local 5K to an Ultra! The team also put together advent boxes at Christmas for Trust House Reading and Piaroo's Wish

For Christmas 2018 we put together a donations box for Launchpad, a Reading based charity helping homeless people. They help some of Reading's most vulnerable and disadvantaged people to turn their lives around and fulfil their potential.

 

The well-being of our staff is extremely important to us, we aim to provide a happy and healthy environment to work in and ensure that all staff take time to look after themselves. We are all team players, and this is reflected in our attitude to work.

We recycle all recyclable materials, each member of staff has their own water bottle, not only to stay hydrated but to reduce the number of single use plastics we use (we have even switched to soap bars over hand pumps!). Understanding that each small step we make, not just the business but us as individuals can have a huge impact on the environment. We aim to minimise energy wastage and have become a paperless office. 

 

We work with 100's of suppliers across the globe, where possible we will encourage our customers to pick environmentally friendly products from ethical factories that use sustainable manufacturing processes. We ensure that all the factories we work have similar values to us. Where possible we use UK manufacturers and suppliers reducing our carbon footprint.
