Pac Man T-shirts
A project for something trendy and different...
Here at M-four we were given a brief by one of our customers to come up with a cool and trendy give away for a big trade exhibition they were exhibiting at. It can sometimes be a challenge trying to come up with new and exciting promotional giveaways... but a challenge we always love taking! They wanted promotional items that would have people talking about their exhibition stand, and that would drive potential customers to visit them and see what their business had to offer. Being a computer software company the majority of the crowd would be techy people. We looked into various techy items, branded USBs, torches, ear phones, but none of them had the "WOW" factor. We finally decided with our customer that a branded t-shirt was the perfect solution. An item that had a fantastic branding area, and had the potential to have a really cool and funky design.
Now down to designing... whilst corporate clothing is a great way to have your logo always visible, we wanted to come up with a design that was a bit different, making it a t-shirt that people would want to wear. With the 'geeky' look being a current trend we toyed with the idea of a Pac Man style t-shirt (it also happened to be the t-shirt that Murray our samples co-ordinator was wearing on the day!!) Our customers logo fitted perfectly within the Pac Man character, and we were easily able to transform their logo in their very own Pac Man game.
Our customer was extremely happy with the end result and gave really positive feedback. All the t-shirts were given away, and they even had people tweeting about them at the exhibition. It just shows that with a bit of creative thinking you can utilise promotional merchandise in the best possible way. Corporate clothing doesn't always have to be boring, it can have the WOW factor meaning it could be worn with pride after the event.
